Sarah

Optometrist

Sarah graduated from QUT in 2000 and has worked in a variety of scenarios since. She received her fellowship from the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry in 2008, and her therapeutic endorsement in 2017. She received the Keith Woodland award for clinical excellence, for her work with traumatic brain injury in 2021.
Sarah has been a guest lecturer as part of QUT’s undergraduate paediatric program and has assisted on the paediatric clinic as a supervisor to the 4th and 5th year students.

She was chairperson of Fellowship examination board and has been a guest speaker at both of Queensland’s annual optometry conferences.

Sarah is passionate about connecting with her clients and understanding their symptoms. She is well trained in assessing and treating dry eye, post-concussion syndrome, children’s vision and reading difficulties in all age groups. She loves working at Insight Optometrists and being part of such a vibrant team.
When not in the practice, Sarah can be found completing her MBA, working on her wine-related start up business or relaxing, wine in hand of course, by the Brisbane river in West End, with her two teenage daughters.
